German Center for Research and Innovation

The German Center for Research and Innovation (GCRI) New York is an integral part of the German government’s Internationalization Strategy and was established to strengthen transatlantic collaboration and develop interdisciplinary connections in science and technology between North America and Germany.

Selected GCRI Activities

Provides a “one-stop shop” for information about the German research and innovation landscape and funding sources through the GCRI website

Convenes conferences, symposia and panel discussions to examine cutting-edge research and explore solutions to global problems that integrate understandings of science, the economy, and society

Develops workshops for graduate students and other young researchers to facilitate engagement with German institutions and support them in their careers

Facilitates collaboration between academia and industry through workshops and roundtable discussions
